An easy ten-minute walk from Harbour Centre, and strolling distance from Yaletown, Robson Street and the theatre district, the Sandman Hotel Vancouver City Centre (180 W. The Ramada Limited Downtown Vancouver (435 W. Pender St.) is just one block from the SFU Harbour Centre campus. The YWCA Hotel (733 Beatty St.), just five blocks from Harbour Centre, offers discounted rates on a variety of rooms for men and women attending our workshops. A single-bed room with hall bathroom is $63 per night, and with a semi-private bath is $79. A double-bed room with private bath is $117, and with semi-private bathroom is $90. (Plus taxes.) MEALS AND OTHER ESSENTIALS
We work hard to establish a local coffee sponsor to sustain participants’ caffeine levels. However meals are the responsibility of participants. A guide of local eateries, grocery and convenience stores will be provided to you upon arrival at your first workshop. A digital copy of this guide will also be made available on our website.
GETTING TO VANCOUVER
Travel Cuts, located at SFU’s Burnaby campus, is the official university travel agency. They can help you book travel to the workshops and offer information on flight options, seat sales, and transportation from Vancouver International Airport.
